Animating cameras for dynamic simulation
Animating cameras instead of actually moving objects within the scene can add a lot of dimension and create dynamics within your animations. In our video, we're going to go ahead and animate our text in 3D space, but then we're going to use a camera animation to kind of tie all of the different text animations together and really kind of make a whoosh as we fly through the scene. So let's get started. So go ahead and grab your current time indicator and scrub through the timeline. And as you can see, we've got our surf letters kind of flying into the scene. I want our camera to sort of rotate around the word surf, and then we'll zoom through. So select the camera and press U just to make sure there aren't any current keyframes, and there are not. So let's go ahead and just open up layer one here and open up the options for transform. So let's scrub through and see when our animation stops. So at least at two seconds is where I want to go ahead and start my zoom. Realistically though…
