Promethean interactive whiteboards bring the immediacy of touch to your teaching. Learn the tools and best practices for using one in your classroom, in this course from author and educator Aaron Quigley. Aaron shows how to set up your Promethean board; download ActivInspire, the software that drives Promethean boards; and get started creating new presentations that include video, quizzes, and annotations. He'll also focus on teaching methods that get your students actively involved with the Promethean board, and offer challenges along the way to test their skills.
This challenge is to create a Save button that you can add to your Active Inspire flowchart pages. The Save button should have an action associated with it, that when you click on it, it automatically brings up the Save As dialog box. This will allow you to quickly save any annotations that you've written on your Promethean Board at the end of class. You can then export these charts and make them available to your students through a learning management system, or online. In order to complete this challenge, you'll need to use the Property Browser to stylize a shape. You'll also have to use the Action Browser in order to apply a specific action.
This challenge should take you between two to three minutes to complete. Best of luck, and please check out the next video, where I show you the solution for how I completed this challenge.
