Promethean interactive whiteboards bring the immediacy of touch to your teaching. Learn the tools and best practices for using one in your classroom, in this course from author and educator Aaron Quigley. Aaron shows how to set up your Promethean board; download ActivInspire, the software that drives Promethean boards; and get started creating new presentations that include video, quizzes, and annotations. He'll also focus on teaching methods that get your students actively involved with the Promethean board, and offer challenges along the way to test their skills.
As you set up, and start using your Promethean board, you may come across a time when you need additional technical help. A great place to start is the Promethean Knowledge Base. You can access the Promethean Knowledge Base at prometheankb.com. The first step is to go ahead and choose your region and your language. The next step is to go ahead and click on interact displays, and then simply choose the board that you're working with. I'm going to go ahead and click on the ActivBoard 100 and 300 Range. Under this, there's a variety of articles that now relate to these particular boards.
For example, there's the ActivBoard Installation Guide. Here there's also some common asked questions such as how do I reset my board. Or troubleshooting USB connection problems. Anytime you're having a technical problem with your Promethean ActivBoard, I highly recommend first searching the Promethean knowledge base, because you may be able answer your question with just a few clicks of the mouse.
