Chris Georgenes

Chris Georgenes' animation career started many years after he'd graduated from the Hartford Art School as an illustrator in 1989. It was his university training that gave him a solid and well-rounded fine-arts foundation, long before graphics software was even available to him. Chris worked as an animator for Tom Snyder Productions (Scholastic) for six years, eventually becoming director of creative development. Chris discovered Flash 3 back in 1999. During a speaking engagement at the Flashforward conference in New York that summer, Chris saw the proverbial "Flash-light" and realized Flash was the future. A year later, he was the art and technical director of several animated series for www.shockwave.com. Chris started his own design and animation company in 2002, using Flash as the primary development tool. His clients include LucasArts, Universal Records, Plot Developers, Pileated Pictures, and AOL, among others. He maintains www.mudbubble.com, his online portfolio, and www.keyframer.com, an online Flash resource. Chris is a member of Team Macromedia.
