Combining different types of varnish to add dimensions
Here you can compare the look of just ink on paper, and then the addition of gloss varnish, and then matte varnish. There's a difference in reflectivity of course, but notice that the color of the ink underneath doesn't really change. So you might keep this in mind for a future project. It sort of changes the texture, when the matte varnish is applied, or the gloss varnish is applied. And you almost get three different looks, just for using two different varnishes. So, remember this when you want to add just a little visual interest, something a little bit subtle, but just something to give a unique look to your job.
