Viewing cash receipts

There were two commonly used methods to view the receipts of the cash sale transactions. Either through the bank register, which we used in the previous video, or through the receipts transaction journal listing. This displays all the receipts for a period of time for all customers. Let's have a look at the Receipts file, the Transaction Journal listing for January. From the Banking Command Center, click onto the Transaction Journal icon. At the top, ensure you click onto the Receipts tab, and set your date range from the 1st of January to the 31st of January. If we scroll down, we can view the cash sales transaction on the 7th of January. Which is for a period of the 1st through to the 6th. $124.50 is coming into our NAB check account, and $113.18 is coming into our income account, chemical products, and also some GST collected.
