Much like my course, Remixing Techniques: Time Stretching, I felt it was important to bring four different digital audio workstations together again under a common theme: arranging. I believe that the success of a musical arrangement lies within the individual, not the technology. The DAW is merely the vehicle, and as arrangers, remixers, and producers, I believe that you should have the ability to use different DAWs for different parts of the arranging process. While this course isn't about editing in these specific DAWs, I have found that the more comfortable I am in different DAWs, the more opportunities I have to find work and collaborate with other people.
Editing audio is editing audio, no matter what program you're working in. And remember, the concepts taught within this course are by no means limited to remixing or electronic music.
