If you have access to the Exercise Files for this course, you can put them on your Desktop as I have, or anywhere else that is convenient. This folder contains numerous subfolders, and these are created whenever a 3ds Max project folder is built. What this means is that in fact the Exercise Files folder is the 3ds Max project for this course. The individual files we will be working on are located here in the scenes folder. And within that it's organized by chapter. So you see as I open up Chapter 4, we are looking at all the files for Chapter 4.
In some cases I have created a final version of the file, so that you can see what it will look like when it's finished. If you don't have access to these files, then you can still follow along and create your own files as we proceed through the course. Additionally, one of the exercises in Chapter 6 uses a custom font, and you can use it if you wish. It's optional. You will find it in the fonts folder, in the Exercise Files. Just copy Timepiece.ttf to your Windows Fonts folder before you begin.
