Controlling eye direction

Our next step is to configure the eyes. We need to be able to control eye direction. Now, we could certainly setup a slider to control eye direction but probably a better way to do it is to use what's called a look at constraint. So we need an object to constrain the eyes to an object that they can look at. In this case I'm going to use a circle. So, I'm actually going to go into a front view here and let's just go ahead and create a circle. Somewhere around the size of the character's eye. Something like that. And I'm going to go ahead and position that a little bit forward of the character, so I'm going to go ahead and move that forward. And then I'm going to position it so it's basically centered on his eye. The fact that it's a circle makes it a lot easier to center it, so that's one of the reasons I like to use it. And let's go ahead and give this color. This is going to be his left eye, so I'm going to make it green. And let's go ahead and give it a name as well. So I'm just…
