When you pose characters you have to realize that poses never happen alone. One pose always flows into another. It's a choreography of poses that tell the story. So in this case, we have a very strong pose, she's whispering in his ear. Now this will bring up the question with the audience, what is she whispering? Well the next pose is, where we reveal that. So if we go from this pose to a post like this, it may be revealed that the secret wasn't so pleasant to him. And she's consoling him.
